Like many Nigerian women in Lagos and other cities across Africa – I sure do go through my obsession with African Print and it’s so ingrained that nothing can truly take it out of me (us)- our wardrobe. Now I don’t really do the heavy and elaborate outfits though… I like my ankara, easy and simple…same way I like most of my outfits. I picked up these flats from a really cool Ghanaian designer Sa4a… and the shorts I picked up from Store 1804 in Lekki, Lagos. Actually then gifted it to my baby Sis..will get her to send me some photos this summer of how she’s rocking hers in sunny LA. The earrings were a really hot score from Elan Red store, a local boutique that carries a lot of local and international designers… affordably priced.
My lovely friend Tobe styled this shoot and brought the juicy pineapple which thankfully wasn’t just a prop at the end of a super hot afternoon!
